Ujjwala Yojana Online Registration: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started many schemes till date, one of them is the scheme which has been run for women. So that the women of the country do not face any problem in cooking. The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Scheme .
This scheme was started on 1st May 2016 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The only slogan of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is Clean Fuel, Better Life. Ujjwala Yojana is a kind of social welfare scheme. This scheme has been started especially for women . When women cook food, cook vegetables in the kitchen, they do not have to face smoke.
Earlier, when the women of the village used to cook food, they have to take the help of the stove and in the stove you know that food is cooked from sticks, cow dung etc. In such a situation, there is a lot of pollution by burning wood and cow dung cakes and this pollution is also harmful for women and children. Objective
The objective of PM Ujjwala Yojana is to promote women empowerment. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana , women have to be given healthy fuel for cooking. Under this scheme, women are given free cylinders. For which no money is taken.
Along with the free cylinder , a gas collection is also provided. You know that in rural areas, everything is done on the stove. Due to which a lot of smoke also comes out, this smoke remains a health hazard among the people. But now women have been gifted by the government. The name of this gift was named Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana .
Eligibility of PM Ujjwala Yojana Scheme
To take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana , the government has also kept some eligibility which you have to fulfill.
- Applicant’s age should be 18 years or above.
- The benefit of Ujjwala scheme will be given only in the name of the woman .
- You must also have a bank account which must be nationalized.
- The person applying should not already have a gas connection in his house.
- You must have BPL Ration Card.
- Applicant must be a rural resident.
Documents for Ujjwala Yojana
To take advantage of PMUY scheme or gas connection, the government has also kept some documents which you will have to submit.

- You should also have a BPL certificate which is authorized by the Panchayat Pradhan or the Chairman of the Municipality.
- Identity card or Aadhar card
- Passport size photo
- Photocopy of bank account passbook
- Aadhar card for whether you are 18 years old or not

To take advantage of the free gas connection scheme, you should consider some important things.
- Providing 5 crore LPG connections to BPL families under the scheme .
- Under the Ujjwala scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1600 will be provided to the applicant.
- Whatever connection will be given , it will be given in the name of women beneficiaries .
- The government also provides the facility of EMI for the cost of filling the gas stove and cylinder .
- Free cylinders are given.
- If the cylinder is empty, you will have to pay money to get it refilled.
- The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is implementing this scheme.
- You will also be given subsidy on whatever cylinder you fill .

To take advantage of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana , you have to have any LPG company near you that has a gas connection.
Lets go to that company. To get the connection, only the woman will have to go, yes you can take your husband along with you, but you will have to put a thumb sign like a sign. Carry photocopies of documents like BPL ration card, Aadhar card, bank passbook etc. with you. Photocopies have to be taken two by two. The gas company will give you the form, fill it correctly and submit it.
If you do not know how to fill the form then you can also take the help of someone. When you submit the form, the documents containing the details of all the family members also have to be submitted. If you do not have money while taking a gas connection , then when you fill the next cylinder, then you can also get your money deducted from the subsidy received on it .
