mukhyamantri Amrutam “MA” Yojana is a tertiary care scheme for Below Poverty Line (BPL) population of Gujarat. All beneficiaries can avail cashless quality medical and surgical treatment for catastrophic illnesses related to Cardiovascular diseases, Renal diseases, Neurological diseases, Burns, Poly-Trauma, Cancer (Malignancies), Neonatal (newborn) diseases, Knee & Hip Replacement – Joint Replacement (With the cap of Rs. 40,000 per Hip / Knee replacement) & Kidney, Liver, Kidney + Pancreas Transplant (benefit up to Rs. 5,00,000 ) which cover 698 defined procedures along with their follow-ups The Sum assured is up to Rs. 3,00,000/- per family per annum on a family floater basis.

Application Process Online
• Eligibility for Gujarat Amrutam Yojana
• Beneficiary who should be living below poverty line.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Gujarat.
• Your family name should be under the scheme
• The annual family income should be less than 4 lakhs
• You must be a U-Win cardholder
• All urban and rural (ASHA) workers, class 3 and 4 state government employees and journalists
• Senior citizens of families with maximum annual income of 6 lakhs will be eligible to take advantage of the scheme.
• Distribution of Gujarat PMJAY-MA Ayushman Card
On October 17, 2022, at 4 pm, Narendra Modi has started the process of giving PMJAY-MA scheme Ayushman card in the state of Gujarat. In 2012, the government launched the Mukhyamantri Amrutam (MA) scheme to protect poor people from illness and the huge cost of medical care. In 2014 it was known as Mukhyamantri Amrutam Vatsalya Yojana. To give impetus to the scheme, in 2018 the Prime Minister launched Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). This plan has become the world’s largest insurance coverage scheme. Through which an assistance of Rs 5 lakh per family per year is provided for hospitalization for primary to tertiary care. Considering this feature of this scheme, Gujarat has merged MA/MAV scheme and AB-PM-JAY scheme into a new program called PMJAY-MA scheme. In this program PMJAY-MA cards were given to those people who got help from MA/MAV and AB-PMJAY.

Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana provides cashless treatment to the citizens of Gujarat. Now citizens will not need to worry about the medical expenses due to this scheme, as the Gujarat government will cover all the medical expenses through the scheme. Beneficiaries under this scheme will be able to avail cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Amrutam scheme will provide treatment facility to every citizen of Gujarat in selected hospitals. The government will also pay a transport fee of Rs 300 for every instance of getting treatment from an empaneled hospital.
